Entering the plastic injection field in 1986, with nearly 40 years of history, we have continuously collaborated with our clients to produce a wide range of products. In 2010, we established the stationery department. The establishment of this new department has allowed us to successfully achieve a state of mutual supply within the facility, reducing external procurement expenses. Since our establishment, the products produced by our factory have been well-received by clients.
Today, SHI MEI TE Plastic and Hardware focus primarily on exporting plastic items. Our service areas include Japan, the United States, and Europe. From manufacturing goods such as CD/DVD cases and business card holders to stationery folders, inner page pockets, and even specialized custom OEM products. We have a team with rich production experience dedicated to ensuring the smoothness and quality of product manufacturing.

Many components are manufactured and assembled on-site, and the two departments support each other to achieve cost reduction by minimizing expenses from external procurement.
Each supervisor have over 10 years of experience in their respective positions, possessing extensive OEM experience. They lead their teams and emphasize every aspect and pay attention to every detail.
Since Vietnam joined both ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and AFTA (ASEAN Free Trade Area) in 1995, more countries have been signing FTAs/BTAs (Free Trade Agreements/Bilateral Trade Agreements) with ASEAN and Vietnam. The plastic products manufactured by SMT qualify as zero-tariff goods. Moreover, despite the increasing average wages in Vietnam, they are still lower than those in China.

The department is primarily responsible for plastic injection molding products. To meet the different sizes, weights, and default materials of various products, we select suitable mold materials to achieve stable production and reduce unnecessary burdens for our customers. We can also suggest suitable materials for new designs. The department is equipped with horizontal injection molding machines and injection blow molding machines. Within the department, there are specialized technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of molds, along with dedicated space and machines for these activities.

The department is primarily responsible for stationery storage products. The department is equipped with various production machinery, such as high-frequency welding machines, specialized accordion folder machines, and machinery for sheet protector production. Approximately 90% of the components for the products are produced on-site at the factory. Additionally, the department has sewing machines for edge finishing, zippers, and fabric containers. The sewing technicians have extensive experience, achieving both speed and aesthetics in sewing. As a result, a small portion of the products also falls under the category of lifestyle storage products.
